Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has revealed that the nurse responsible for treating the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, before his untimely passing, has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities.
Ojo conveyed this crucial information through a video message posted on her Instagram page last night, as she kept her followers abreast of her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police. During the meeting, she discussed the progress of the police investigation into Mohbad’s tragic death.
During the video message, she stated, “The police have made some arrests in connection with Mohbad’s death. The nurse has been arrested, that I can confirm. This is the latest information I can share with you at the moment. They have also asked certain individuals to surrender themselves.”
This development comes in the wake of Mohbad’s controversial demise on September 12, 2023. His father, James Aloba, expressed his suspicions in an interview, pointing to the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad before his passing, suggesting that the injection might have exacerbated his son’s health.
The arrest of the nurse marks a significant turn in the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Authorities are actively pursuing leads and encouraging those with relevant information to come forward as the investigation continues.
